David is a local photographer, living in Northfield since 2005. He specializes in nature, wildlife, and landscapes as well as event photography from theatre productions to Air Shows, Rodeos, and National CFA and ACFA Cat Shows.
A photographer for almost 40 years, David converted from film 10 years ago, and finds that digital photography has made him more creative, blending his technical and artistic skills to create the compelling images he sees in his mind, not just those seen through his viewfinder.
David's work has been published in calendars, advertisements, magazines, and web sites. His images have also been used by the DNR, Minnesota Zoo, and National Park Service. His work has been displayed in exhibits and galleries, and he participates in the Riverwalk Art Fair and Riverfront Festival in Northfield as well as art fairs in Owatonna and Red Wing.
He frequently participates in photographic competitions and has won many awards for his images.
